Tres Gatos aka Vinyl Heaven

I went to dinner last night at Tres Gatos in JP and was thrilled to find out they have a new/used record and bookstore in the back of the restaurant. The place has a huge selection of artists! I purchased 2 Dolly Pardon albums (one of which I plan to give a friend as a gift) for under $6 each.

There are several great things about buying records from Tres Gatos: 1.) Listen Before You Buy: They will play your record in the store so you know you are getting quality vinyl! 2.) Prices Are Fair: Most of the records start at five bucks. 3.) You Can Stay Hydrated: You can take your soda/wine/beer/sangria/water (whatever you please) in the store and shop while you wait for dinner 4.)You Get Freebies: When you purchase a book/cd/record from the store you get to take an additional item from their “free basket.”

  1. Hi there! Im the record store manager at Tres Gatos, and I just wanted to thank you for writing such a nice peice about us! We pride ourselves in being a retail space that is by the music/book fan, for the music/book fan, and a place where people can mingle, drink, talk, dance, and hopefully shop haha. I think you caught the essence of what we’re going for right on the nose, and I, as well as the owner and staff, really appreciate it. Also, there is alot-ALOT-more Dolly Parton in our overstock, so come back sometime!
